Join us at Castle Kilbride* on Saturday May, 8th from 9am to noon for a socially distanced picnic and rally.
We are asking all white participants to sit around the border of the park to create a wall to block more vulnerable attendees from racist cat-calling and other harms.
This is a family friendly rally - bring signs, art supplies and books to help spread the message.
Come learn about the power of presence as our leaders teach you about bystander intervention, intersectionality and solidarity!
This rally is abiding by the following public health measures including:
Masks are mandatory
One household per ‘picnic blanket’
All households must sit six feet apart
We have a safety team with extra PPE who will be ensuring compliance
For those most at risk to the harms of White Supremacy and COVID-19 please join our car rally.
Cover your vehicle with signs calling for Wilmot to Change - Make some noise about your vision for an anti-racist Wilmot. Take pictures and post online as you go.
Grab some friends and drive around Wilmot from 9-noon on Saturday. There is a small caravan meeting at Waterloo-Oxford Secondary School at 9am for those needing a car buddy.
